Nope, these aren't "French Fries". You would probably be in big trouble if you called them that here. These are Belgian Frites. The Belg were actually the first to come up with these yummy little things. And the sauce is called Samurai Sauce, make sure you have a glass of water handy. Sooooo good.
Probably chalked full of calories too...good thing my running shoes came today (Thanks Kim!)
