Our 24th of July Festivities

We spent this year's 24th of July doing things we love best -
swimming, splashing, spending time with family, eating, and running off what we ate.

The night before the 24th I took the kids down to Springville and met Jenny with her kids at the Springville splash pad. That may be one of my favorite splash pads yet (and we have been to quite a few splash pads.)

Part of the fun at this splash pad were the bronzed statues...
right Luke??

Oh perfect! A happy (non mobil) baby for Paisley to play with!

Then we got snow cones!
(I think this may have been the first for my kids....what a tragedy!)

The next morning we did the Temple to Temple run with Nick's parents and Adam and Ann's family.
This downhill 5K goes from the provo temple by the MTC to the new Provo City Center temple.
Fun run!

Paisley really wanted to run part of the race, so after the finish we took her back up half a block and let her run. I was running with her, until she got mad and insisted on running by herself.  Here she is crossing the finish...

Paisley and I have some pretty awesome "Game Faces"

So does Nick...

Cruz really does adore his bud Jensen... he just doesn't always show it in the best way.

At other times he does...

After our run we had a brunch at Adam and Ann's,
then we went swimming at the Scera,
back to the Bahr house for a delicious BBQ,
and ended back at the Scera for more fun.

What a day!
We are loving this summer and all the fun we get to have with family!
