Today we went to Barcelona with plans to hit up the Aquarium with our friend Jane and her cute little one, Eva.
As we walked the Rambla down to the Aquarium we saw that the big outdoor market was going on, and decided to walk around for a minute.
Wow. That's about all I have to say. What an assortment of things!
From delicious looking fresh fruit drinks and chocolates to yummy (gag) fresh seafood.
Here's just a taste (in pictures) of it all...
Market entrance.
It wouldn't be Spain without a few pig legs hanging around.
As you can see these babies range anywhere form around 50 Euros up to 225 Euros. Oh, and did I mention these smell delicious ;)
This lil Lobster was happily trotting along other seafish and shells, and knew little of his future fate.
Tropical fruits...
Perhaps the whole pig leg isn't your thing. No passa nada. You can get your cured ham to go on a stick.
Nick bought us some dried Kiwi and strawberries and we all thought they were quite tasty.
Especially little Cruzer man.
The aquarium turned out to be a big hit as well.
Here's just a handful of the pics I got:
Don't worry, despite Paisley's face in most the pictures, she really did have a fun time!
Eva and Paisley loved playing in the submarine!
(I apologize for the man's bum that photobombed our picture)
And here are the three amigos.
We sure are lucky to have such great friends to share fun times with here!
