A Bit of Renovation

We are renting an older house in the "Historic District" of Logan.
Because the house is older, it comes with a lot of quirks. Most of these quirks are easily dealt with, and add character to our home, but the bathroom and it's quirks were just not practical.

Nick, being the thinker that he is, struck up a deal with our Landlord. Nick would provide all the labor to remodeling the bathroom if the landlord provided all other expenses. Although Nick had never done any construction or major home remodeling before, he took advantage of this opportunity to learn a few things. He has become quite the handy man. He's learned how to change electric, how to plumb, how to install tile....I am proud of my husband and all his hard work. Although this project has taken a little more time and effort than we initially planned the results are going to pay off! Thanks Nick for making my showering and bathroom activities much more comfortable!!!

Here is Nick hammering away at the walls.

The "Assistant"

Look out for pictures of the end result coming soon!

PS: Special thanks to all those who have helped us during this Renovation including:
Nick's parents for sacrificing a weekend to help out,
Jake Gadd- for lending us some tools and valuable home improvement knowledge,
The Gadd Family: The use of their bathroom - ours is definitely not in working condition.
The friendly workers at supply stores.
