Marlow Month 1 and 2 (and baby blessing!)

It's been a busy couple of months with holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and a new baby.
But I wanted to update our growing little babe with her monthly pics and info.
She continues to be such a joy and blessing in our home!
She really is such a good baby - so easy going and happy.

1 Month Old!

This month Marlow started smiling - and everyone is pretty much obsessed!
She also started cooing!
Her sleep habits are getting a bit better (some nights will do a 6 hour stretch).
She is a very content baby.

Marlow's Blessing Day

Marlow recieved a name and a blessing for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Novermber 29, 2015.
Kim and Damon were able to take a short break from their mission in Kirtland to attend the baby blessing.  We were also blessed to have Grandpa and Grandma Transtrum there, Mark and Jenny's family, Ashley, Ann and her kids (adam was in Nepal), and Tim and Hayley's family.  There is nothing better than sharing these special moments with the ones you love most!

Marlow received a beautiful blessing from her dad and some things that stuck out:
-Blessed with light and love for others
- Blessed to recall the things she learned before this life
-To have joy in this life even in a world filled with turmoil
-Able to rely on family for help (both immediate and extended) from both living and those who have passed on
-Blessed to be able to serve and be a strength and beacon for others
-Blessed with faith and that faith will for these blessings to come

After the blessing we had a brunch that included a yogurt bar and breakfast casseroles. Yum!

How cute are these smiley girls!?

What a beautiful day for a beautiful little lady!
So happy to have a husband who can give her blessings, and for the love and support of our families!

Marlow 2 Months!

At 2 months, Marlow Rose is starting to put on the pounds!
She weighed 9 lbs 10 oz at her 2 month check up.
She is happy and healthy!
Besides working on the chunky rolls, Marlow also spent the month growing in her old man bald spot.
She lost alot of her hair on the top of her head within the first two weeks. I was pretty sure she would be my bald baby (the other two have had great hair), but she started sprouting it and it has come in nicely. Looks like it will be nice and thick like the others! Still can't tell how dark it will be, but so far is lighter than Paisley and Cruz's.
Marlow still sleeps most of the day - but will wake up for a few stretches to make faces at her brother and sister.  She is getting more and more interested in the world around her - prefers to face out when being held - and seems to know when her mom is the one holding her.
She loves being swaddled and her binky!
